WHEN I PICKED UP THE PHONE TO ASK FOR Robyn's help, I was physically, emotionally drained. It was an effort to get out of bed, to face the day and fulfil my responsibilities with any enthusiasm, even thinking was laborious. It was out of character for me to reach out and ask for help, usually trusting my own instincts and training to get me through, but I was too exhausted to engage in my own well being. With some reluctance I called Robyn to ask for her insight and assistance. My fear was that I might have chronic fatigue. Within moments she generally checked me out and informed me I had inherited my mother's heart, physically. She followed that observation with the question, ''Which valve did your mum have replaced?' She had in fact had two minor valve replacements within the last 8 years. We scheduled our first phone appointment that following week. She asked that I be in a quiet place, resting while she worked on me. I eagerly awaited my appointment, followed her guidelines, we began the session and my housekeeper unexpectedly came into the room. I quietly got up, covered the phone and whispered to her I wouldn't be available for another 15 minutes, at which point Robyn said 'how do you expect me to do heart surgery if you're moving all over the room?' After several appointments, I was back. I had my usual energy clarity and enthusiasm. I felt as though I was back in touch with myself and the marvellous world around me. There was however and added bonus, for the first time in 20 years I felt profoundly close to my mother. Our relationship had been a strain for us both and after the sessions with Robyn I could actually feel and continue to feel the deep love I have for her. Grateful is too small a word to encompass what I feel for Robyn Welch and her work. I feel blessed and touched by the miraculous. I have always felt that I was here on this earth to contribute something of value.
