Accident 23rd of March 2005.
On the above date at approximately 11 o’clock I was kicked in the abdomen by my horse with full force. I believe I then passed out though came round very quickly and was unable to move. An ambulance was called. I could feel my abdomen filling up with blood and after about 30 minutes was finding it difficult to breath. As soon as the ambulance arrived they gave me oxygen and attached me to a drip. My husband alerted Robyn as to what was happening to me (I had subsequently had successful treatment from her) and she started to work on me immediately. When I arrived in hospital I was in a critical state and was given a CT scan to find the extent of the damage. It showed a lot of internal bleeding and a completely lacerated liver although luckily it had remained within its capsule. Because of this, they decided that it would be more dangerous to operate and I was taken to intensive care where I was attached to many lines and very closely monitored. It was just a matter of waiting to see what happened. I was very unaware of what was really going on though was very much conscious.
In the meantime, Robyn found that my liver was in pieces, although within its capsule. She then sealed the 3 places that she saw it was likely to rupture. She then started draining the blood from my lungs which were filling up, and from the abdomen. She acted as a life support machine for me as the liver was unable to perform its job and worked on me consistently for 3 days – even through the night. During that time my blood pressure dropped rapidly and my heart beat went down to 32. The hospital was very concerned as had not encountered such a low pulse and it was during this time that Robyn was my life support machine. I was aware that I really wanted to go to sleep and was being prevented. Since talking to Robyn she said that she kept calling out to me to stop me from going to sleep as I was getting weaker and weaker.
Robyn stopped all the internal bleeding and drained the body. I began to become stable and it was then the pain kicked in after about 5 days and it was immense. I spoke to Robyn every day for the next 2 weeks. It would be a case of 2 steps forward and one step back. My body went through major detoxes, having to get rid of all the saline and painkillers, etc. that had been pumped into my body. I was feeling sick (and was sick) and all this time my body was repairing well and getting stronger. I remained in hospital for 2 ½ weeks until I was able to walk and managed to get the pain under control.
After I returned home and during the 3rd week I again felt very sick for about 4 days. After a session with Robyn she informed me there was still a lot of poisons which she was pushing through which was causing this. That evening I started to feel much better. It is now 4 weeks since my accident. I’m still very weak and tired, though getting stronger, fit and healthy. With this behind me, I think I stood the best chance I had to survive of which I am sure I would not have dome without Robyn acting as my life support machine through that very difficult 3 days.
I am truly, truly grateful for this wonderful work
