I HAD CHECKED INTO EMERGENCY WITH SEVERE pain in my side. I thought that perhaps that my appendix had burst. I was quickly diagnosed with kidney stones. X-rays were taken and the varmint was located in an area of my bladder that was not particularly conductive for ultrasound treatment. The instructions to me by the attending urologist were first to try to pass the stone naturally and if unsuccessful then surgery would be necessary. I was released with an ampoule of pain medication to help me weather the storm that lied ahead. From that point my weekly routine was simple, in between pain medication I drank roughly 12 oz of fluids per hour in hopes of dislodging the stone. A friend of mine called saying I had been on her mind and wanted to know how I was doing. I filled her in on the past weeks and told her that more than likely I would need surgery. She asked why I had not called Robyn and said I thought I thought she was still in Hawaii writing her book. There were five sessions in all. Four were by phone with the fifth sat Robyn's home. From the very first session the pain had noticeably lessoned. The fourth treatment was certainly the most dramatic. I was in a fair amount of pain when Robyn called and considered rescheduling my appointment for I was in no shape to conduct a coherent conversation let alone relax enough to assist Robyn in the healing that she would be administering. Robyn suggested that we proceed stating that she could now focus more directly on the blockage. Robyn's approach to my problem was to actually change the consistency of the stone over to a softer more pliable substance making it easier to dislodge. Approximately five minutes into the therapy the pain abruptly stopped. Soon after, rather than passing a hard stone like substance I noticed a discharge of a soft tissue like material. Time has now passed since the incident and I have never felt better.
