My Mother is 76. She has had a problem with her back and neck since she was a child, Also she had two car accidents, one of which left her walking with a cane and she still could not walk more than half a block in any case. She found it difficult to turn her neck after some time as well. She was diagnosed with "stenosis of the spine", a narrowing of the spinal column that left her no recourse but surgery on her neck, according to doctors. She was having numbing sensations across her shoulders as well.
I believe she had about 6-8 appointments with you. One day she called me and said that she noticed that she had turned her neck to back out of the driveway, and had driven off to her store. Suddenly it occurred to her that she had not been able to do this for some years, instead having to turn her whole body as it was too painful to turn her neck alone.
She was next invited on a trip to Europe with some of her business associates. She was enthusiastic to go, but terrified of walking that would certainly be required. She had been unable to walk more than half a block for 8 years at least. She just returned from that trip with a glowing report that she was able to walk well with the group, and although there were times when she felt tired and lagged behind, that on the whole she felt that the improvements were noticeable and marked and that her capacity to walk had been restored to a degree she had not thought possible. Thank you so much.
