In September 1996 an ultrasound testing revealed findings: "Consistent with a right lower pole collecting system tumour i.e. transitional cell carcinoma with probable invasion and obstruction". Urine Cytology revealed "rare highly atypical cells"
Following interviews with two Urologists, I decided to withhold traditional medical intervention as the first option, and instead focused on holistic medical treatments. Over the first twelve months the clinics programme included Chinese and Western Herbs, Acupuncture, Vitamin and Mineral Supplements, Biotonical and Homeopathic remedies.
At the point in treatment I was introduced to Robyn Welch. She immediately enquired of the condition of "right kidney and liver function". At that moment I felt certain I would be healed by Robyn's "Gift".
During the first week I visited Robyn for four sessions. Then followed a week of rest, returned to my family, and a treatment at the clinic, where my 'primary' care physician stated "What ever you are doing with the healer, stay with it". I was experiencing considerable kidney and bladder pain, and having worked with Robyn the levels of pain were significantly eased, along with reduction of jaundice colouring. Equally, or perhaps greater was the shift of mental and emotional weariness. From the very first treatment Robyn reminded me that my thoughts and feelings would play a very important part in maintaining the progress, and indeed would enhance the speed and success.
From September through early December I visited Robyn for three or four treatments every two weeks. When at home alternate weeks Robyn continued to support me with occasional phone treatments and a caring that I shall remember for ever.
Some months beyond the initial treatment Robyn reported she had removed a final root system and that the kidney had delegated with her and was now ready to function once more having moved from a phase of "recovery" and now beyond "repair".
To date I have not returned for a follow up ultrasound. I remain without pain or bleeding, I have regained much of the weight loss. I have a sense of well-being, and an immense gratitude and trust in Robyn's abilities as a unique and gifted healer.
